The Island Media was founded in 2014.
Before that, as a child, Isaac Leif found a perfect duo in his Lego toys and father’s camcorder.
By primary school, he had become an in-demand A-cam operator
in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area.
Not buying it?
Okay, this was just a field trip to a local public access studio.
As he aged, Isaac made videos with friends and would save money
to put into cameras, computers, and new gear.
The Island Media started when a new opportunity presented itself.
Isaac was asked to independently produce City Council meetings.
Proud to be asked, he signed two year-long contracts.
Isaac holds a “flex fill” while shooting outside.
